As Greystone’s Director of Content Services, Sara has primary responsibility for content development and editorial review for all Greystone.Net Web properties and publications. She also works with Greystone clients who need content developed, reviewed or edited. Sara is a registered nurse with many years of clinical nursing experience in addition to many years of health and marketing-related writing and editorial experience. Prior to entering the consumer health information field, Sara spent years in critical care nursing, primarily in the specialty of cardiovascular surgical ICU in academic medical center settings. She was certified in critical care nursing by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses for 21 years until leaving active clinical practice. She co-authored a self-paced learning program for heart failure patients that was used in a joint venture educational program with United Healthcare. Sara holds a master's degree in public health, in the area of health policy and management, as well as degrees in education and nursing.
