CRM Spending Is Increasing: Are You In?

In an effort to improve customer service, many marketers are spending 2% to 3% more on CRM solutions over brand marketing efforts. Is your organization in alignment?

According to a study done by the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, marketing technologies are on the upswing. In particular, businesses are spending more on CRM solutions than they are on brand spending.

In an effort to improve customer service, many marketers are spending 2% to 3% more on CRM solutions over brand marketing efforts. An April 2016 survey from Insightly found that the top three business problems encountered by creative professionals prior to implementing a CRM were:

  • Difficulty organizing information (64% of survey respondents)
  • Difficulty managing clients (50% of respondents)
  • Difficulty managing projects (38% of respondents)

After implementation of a CRM, the survey respondents reported significant improvement with these issues, which allowed for better customer service, improved customer responsiveness and improving the bottom line with increased sales.
